Morrowind GeoGuessr
Wake up somewhere in Morrowind, from the Bitter Coast to the Sheogorad isles. Where are you, outlander?
TESGuessr's Morrowind game is over 52,000 panoramas taken in The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind (in OpenMW): every road and town of Vvardenfell, the snows of Solstheim, and the whole Tamriel Rebuilt mainland. Silt strider ports and Dwemer ruins, the Ascadian Isles' farms, the West Gash, the Ashlands under Red Mountain, the grazelands, Telvanni towers grown from mushrooms. Look around, walk the roads, and pin the map.
The maps
- All of MorrowindVvardenfell, Solstheim and the mainland together
- VvardenfellThe island of the base game: over 13,000 places, Seyda Neen to Dagon Fel
- MainlandTamriel Rebuilt: over 34,000 places, Old Ebonheart to Port Telvannis
- SolstheimBloodmoon's island: Raven Rock, Skaal Village, Fort Frostmoth
- Vvardenfell + SolstheimThe base game and Bloodmoon, no mods needed to know them
- Project CyrodiilProject Tamriel's Strident Coast, Cyrodiil on Morrowind's engine
How to play
Each game is five rounds. You wake up at a place in the game's world: look around, and with Moving on, follow the arrows down roads, through towns and over the hills. When you think you know where you are, drop a pin on the map. The closer the pin, the more points: up to 5,000 a round, 25,000 a game.
Make it harder with the settings: No move keeps you where you land, NMPZ (no moving, panning or zooming) gives you one fixed view, a timer of one to three minutes hurries you, and the hard difficulty (Nerevarine in Morrowind, Hero of Kvatch in Oblivion) starts you anywhere at all, deep wilderness included, where the easy one (N'wah, or Beggar) starts you on a road, in a town or at a landmark.
Finished a game? Share it as a challenge link: your friends play the same five places and see the score to beat.
Morrowind every day
The ranked daily comes sealed "By the order of The Tribunal": five places, the same for everyone, one go, a leaderboard. "Have you seen this s'wit?" puts five of Morrowind's characters on a wanted poster: name them by their faces, in three tries each. All the daily games.

Questions
- Does it include Tamriel Rebuilt?
- Yes. The mainland map is Tamriel Rebuilt, over 34,000 places from Old Ebonheart and Almas Thirr to Narsis, Necrom, Firewatch and Port Telvannis. Project Cyrodiil's Strident Coast is a map of its own.
- Is Solstheim in it?
- Yes: Bloodmoon's Solstheim has over 1,000 places, as a map of its own or with Vvardenfell.
- Do I need Morrowind installed?
- No. It plays in the browser; the panoramas were taken in OpenMW from the game's own data.
- What is the s'wit quiz?
- "Have you seen this s'wit?" is a daily face quiz: five of Morrowind's characters, photographed where they stand in the game. Name each in three tries, with a clue after every miss.
- Is there a Morrowind daily challenge?
- Yes: the ranked daily, five Morrowind places, the same for everyone, one go a day, with a leaderboard. New at midnight UTC.
